Edward is a firm believer in the capacity of the non-profit sector to create self-sustaining economies scaled to individual and community empowerment. As founding President of Matrix Affordable Homes and as the current President of Abbeyfield Houses Society of Guelph he works to implement a coherence of beliefs, words and actions on a local level: "when you have a life sentence you wrote for yourself why would you want parole?"
